- The Network Security Specialist is responsible for recommending, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining network Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend, implement, monitor, and maintain network access control to safeguard against unauthorized access.
- Ensure frequent updates of software and operational procedures for preventing unauthorized network access.
- Review and report on the currency of network access controls on Customer assets.
- Approve best practice recommendations for network access control before introduction by service providers.
- Respond to and notify Customer of any network incidents within stipulated timeframes.
- Provide regular reports on network access control activities.
- Take appropriate action to prevent unauthorized access in accordance with Stocklands requirements and industry Review and approve firewall and perimeter management security designs and changes.
- Collect and report on deployment of anti-virus/malware signatures and detection occurrences.
- Review and report on currency of anti-malware controls on Customer assets.
- Continuously assess firewall and perimeter security practices, including rule configuration, monitoring, and intrusion – Report on firewall and access control compliance, ensuring changes are approved and integrated into SIEM tools.
